Clinics and hospitals

The front desk's follow-up list, inside the product.

Reminders that go out on time, reports delivered as documents, a booking form that only offers free slots, and a follow-up reminder set from the thread so "call the patient back after the report" never lives on a sticky note.

WhatsApp for clinics and hospitals

WhatsApp for a clinic or hospital means appointment reminders and report-ready messages sent as utility templates on time, reports delivered as documents inside the chat, a native in-chat form that books a slot from the hospital's live availability, and a shared inbox where the front desk sees which patient has waited longest and sets follow-up reminders from the conversation. The product was built inside a hospital group's own front desk, and its first live workspace is a hospital.

What changes on day one

  • Reminders and reports, on time

Appointment templates with a document header for the report. Utility pricing, no markup, and a per-recipient status the desk can see.

  • Booking forms inside the chat

A native WhatsApp form asks for date and doctor, fetches free slots from your system live, and lands the answers on the patient's record.

  • A team that knows who is waiting

The window ring drains around each patient on every row. Follow-ups are their own filter. Automation pauses for a patient the moment a person takes over.

The features behind this: Team inbox, Contacts, segments and forms, Chatbot flows and journeys.

The industry pack installs

  • Appointment reminder and report-ready templates
  • Follow-up booking form
  • Post-visit feedback journey
  • An appointment FAQ bot

All as drafts, edited by you before anything sends.

Questions from clinics and hospitals

Is patient data safe on WhatsApp?

Messages between the hospital and the patient travel through Meta's platform end to end, and inside the product each workspace is isolated at the database layer, credentials are encrypted and every action is audited. The hospital remains the data fiduciary under the DPDP Act, and the product acts as its processor.

Can reports be sent as PDFs?

Yes. A template with a document header sends the report as a file the patient opens in the chat, and the send is billed as a utility message.

Can patients book appointments on WhatsApp?

Yes, through a native in-chat form whose dropdowns are filled live from the hospital's system, so only free slots are offered. The booking lands on the patient's record and can start a reminder journey.
